AR nabs Myanmar militants

April 25, 2008: (Sinlung News) Aizawl: The Assam Rifles nabbed three suspected members of Myanmars underground outfit Chin National Confederation from Lunglei district.

Lunglei police today said the three were arrested from their hideout near Indo-Myanmar border in Lunglei district yesterday and a country-made .22 miniature rifle and several rounds of ammunition seized from them.

The militants had been identified and produced before a local court.
