India's PEC plans to import 9,000T of pulses

April 24, 2008: (Reuters) Mumbai: State-owned PEC Ltd has floated a tender to import 9,000 tonnes of pulses to be delivered in May-June, the company said on its Web site www.peclimited.com. (Project Equipment Commodities)

The tender includes bids for 6,000 tonnes of black gram, or urad, and 3,000 tonnes of red gram, or tur.

Bids for the Myanmar origin produce would close on April 29, the company said.
