New ADC office opened at Moreh
The importance of Moreh has increased in view of the government of India`s Look East Policy. Hence, government officials posted at the border town should be sincere in executing administrative work.

Moreh: The newly constructed ADC/BDO office building at Moreh has been inaugurated today.
Being situated at the border with Myanmar, Moreh has become an important township not only for Manipur but also for India.
The importance of Moreh has increased in view of the government of India`s Look East Policy. Hence, government officials posted at the border town should be sincere in executing administrative work.
This was stated by state health minister DK Korungthang in his address during the inaugural function of the ADC/BDO office.
Citing reason for government`s inability to shift the ADC office from Moreh to Tengnoupal from Moreh, Korungthang said it was due to importance of Moreh as a border town, and since all the border related works have to be done at the town.
Touching on the condition of Moreh Hospital, Korungthang said process is going on for construction of quarter meant for doctors posted at Moreh.
Korungthang further said the present SPF government is giving equal treatment to both hills and valley in respect of bringing speedy development.
The minister also appealed to all the communities inhabiting Moreh to maintain harmony and peaceful coexistence.
Today`s inauguration function was also attended by K Ranjit Singh, chariman PDA, Thangso Baite, MLA apart from government officials, leaders of civil society bodies and the general public.
